Cookie Policy

Effective: 1 March 2026 · Version 1.0

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website or use a web application. They allow the website to remember information about your visit, such as your login state and display preferences, so that you don’t have to re-enter the same information each time you return.

2. How Mendly Uses Cookies

Mendly uses only functional and session cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of our web platform. We do not use:

  • Advertising or marketing cookies
  • Behavioural tracking cookies
  • Third-party analytics cookies that track you across other websites
  • Social media tracking pixels

Our cookies exist solely to keep the platform working correctly for you. Without them, core features such as staying logged in and remembering your display preferences would not function.

3. Cookies We Use

The following cookies are set by the Mendly web platform:

mendly_session

  • Purpose: Authentication — keeps you logged in to your Mendly account during an active browsing session.
  • Type: Session cookie (functional)
  • Expires: Deleted automatically when you close your browser.

mendly_preferences

  • Purpose: Stores your UI preferences, such as display settings and language selection, so you don’t need to reconfigure them on every visit.
  • Type: Persistent cookie (functional)
  • Expires: 30 days from the date it is set or last updated.

sb-access-token

  • Purpose: Supabase authentication — stores your access token to authenticate your session with our database infrastructure.
  • Type: Session cookie (functional)
  • Set by: Supabase (our database and authentication provider)
  • Expires: Deleted when your session ends or the token expires.

sb-refresh-token

  • Purpose: Supabase authentication — used to silently refresh your access token so you remain logged in without being prompted to sign in again during normal use.
  • Type: Session cookie (functional)
  • Set by: Supabase (our database and authentication provider)
  • Expires: Deleted when your session ends or you sign out.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View the cookies that are currently stored on your device.
  • Delete individual cookies or all cookies stored by a particular website.
  • Block cookies from specific websites or all websites.
  • Set your browser to notify you before a cookie is stored.

Instructions for managing cookies in the most common browsers can be found at the following links:

Please note that if you disable or delete the functional cookies listed above, certain features of the Mendly platform will not work correctly. In particular, you will not be able to remain logged in to your account between page loads, and your display preferences will not be saved.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we add new features to our platform that require additional cookies. Any changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date and version number. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
